The tools on this site are small, rule-based worksheets that run in your browser. They help you structure a decision and prepare for supplier conversations. They are not scanners, benchmarks, audits or assessments of your own systems, they do not send your answers anywhere, and they name no supplier and quote no price.

Hosting requirements planner

The requirements planner takes the number of client tenants, the workload types you host, your recovery point and recovery time expectations, compliance pressure, growth and support model, and writes a requirements profile. The profile states which isolation model to ask suppliers for, how to reason about capacity headroom, what backup and recovery design considerations follow, which network, monitoring and management-plane concerns apply, and a list of questions to put to a provider. It also gives a plain-text summary you can copy or print.

Hosting requirements worksheet

If you prefer to work on paper first, the requirements worksheet lays out the same structure as a set of tables: the estate profile, per-workload recovery tiers, and a place to record each supplier answer together with the evidence behind it.

Reading the output sensibly

The planner’s rules encode general practice, not facts about your platform, and they are deliberately conservative where a wrong answer would be costly. Use the output as a starting list of things to decide and ask, and check anything version-specific against your own platform’s documentation. The reasoning behind each recommendation is in the articles listed on the resources index, starting with multi-tenant isolation.
